The Les Turner ALS Walk4Life is one of the world's largest ALS gatherings, with thousands of walkers gathering each year. In its 11-year history, the Walk has raised over $8 million. Walkers organize into fundraising teams, demonstrating hope, courage and community in support of their loved ones.
Important Announcement: Date Change!
The date for the 2013 ALS Walk4Life has been changed to Sunday, September 22. This new date is one day later than previously communicated. Please help us spread the word!
The good news is that this means you have one more day to fundraise and rally your team members. The format for the event will stay the same. Teams will gather in the Stadium Green at Soldier Field beginning at 9:00am. The opening ceremony will begin around 10:30am and the walk will officially kick off at 11:00am. Participants will enjoy a 2 mile family friendly walk along the incredible lakefront as well as pre and post walk entertainment. Most importantly, it is still the Les Turner ALS Foundation’s signature event and largest fundraiser.
