Fun with a cause! Our Young ProfessionALS Group is a great way to meet other young professionals with a common interest in finding a cure for ALS. Many of our members have a personal connection to ALS, but we welcome anyone who is interested in making a difference!
The Young ProfessionALS Group meets on the second Wednesday of each month. We meet for socializing, support, and to discuss new ways to raise awareness and assist those affected by ALS. The Young ProfessionALS Group also puts on several exciting fundraisers each year, including an NCAA bracket challenge, cocktail hour, and Holla for ALS Casino Night. Other Young ProfessionALS also support the Foundation by competing in local races with the Run4ALS program, forming teams for the ALS Walk4Life, or volunteering for a local Tag Days drive.

YPG Cocktail Fundraiser. Join us on Saturday, May 18, from 9:00pm - 11:00pm. We will be at STATE, 935 W Webster Ave in Chicago. Tickets are $20 in advance online or $30 at the door. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit YPG’s Holla for ALS fundraiser. Tickets include light appetizers, well-drinks and domestic drafts. Holla for ALS. Join us on Friday, June 21, from 7:00pm - 11:00pm. We will be at Fairmont Millennium Park, 200 North Columbus Drive in Chicago. At this “Casino Night" themed event, we partner with well-known vendor US Poker & Casino to provide Blackjack, Roulette, Craps and Poker in the amazing Fairmont Millennium Hotel in downtown Chicago. Showgirls add color and entertainment to the night as well as a fun dance scene thanks to our incredible DJ! Tickets are $50 per person and include $25 in chips with a cash bar. Strike Out ALS 5K. Join our Strike Out ALS 5K Team! Join us on Tuesday, July 16 as we finish on the warning track of U.S. Cellular Field! Stay for the after-party and hang out with 93XRT’s Lin Brehmer, your teammates and fellow runners while watching the Major League Baseball All-Star game inside the stadium. Registration is $40 per person and while there is no fundraising minimum for this event, we encourage each runner to raise $90 to help fund ALS research and patient programs.
