Help promote ALS awareness by participating in the
Les Turner ALS Foundation/ALS March of Faces Community Banner . The March of Faces Banner is a pictorial display of the courageous women and men - both past and present - stricken with ALS. The Foundation maintains a community banner of those PALS (person with ALS) from the Chicagoland area and it is displayed at Foundation special events throughout the year. PALS Kyle Hahn conceived the March of Faces Banner in July 1997. Although Kyle lost his battle with ALS in 2003, the Banner continues as an advocacy and awareness tool. The Banner is utilized to heighten public awareness, raise funds for patient services and research, as well as advocating on issues that benefit PALS and their families. It has traveled extensively both across the country and the world. As of June 2008, the Banner segments stretch over 500 feet and includes more than 2,500 PALS.
